For a very special episode of Queer Eye, The Fab Five traveled to Quincy, Illinois to hold a roundtable with the Gay Straight Alliance at Jonathan Van Ness’ High School. We produced exclusive behind the scenes content that inspired everyone involved and made emotional connections that changed lives for the kids participating and audiences around the world.

During the first season of Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, we created a 7-part “Digital Exclusive” promo series that was featured on Entertainment Weekly. The promos were fast-moving collaborations that weaved scripted concepts together with improv comedy, teasing the upcoming week&#8217;s episode.

PRESS COVERAGE

The social video for Queer Eye captured more than 550,000 organic views on Instagram including 89,000 likes and 1,300 comments, and 194,000 organic views on Facebook with 1,200 shares. Press coverage included The New York Times, USA Today, NPR, and The Telegraph. In addition to an exclusive partnership with EW that reached more than 18 million unique visitors monthly, the Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj content series received more than 1.1 million views on YouTube.

Social Media Marketing Strategy + Video Content | Netflix Case Study | Tane

After the initial launch of Regi in 2019, the beauty and medical aesthetic booking platform needed to get the word out and expand its presence in the New York, Los Angeles, and Dallas markets.  With the goal of launching in even more cities in 2020, the campaign would need to build brand awareness and increase sign-ups to the platform.

We helped Regi develop their brand purpose and value propositions &#8211; Convenient, Trustworthy, Elevated, and Tailored &#8211; before creating more than 30 pieces of digital content that targeted audiences through paid and organic posts.

To further solidify Regi&#8217;s brand presence, we created city-centric content in alignment with the broader “Do You Regi?” Campaign. These market-specific assets were optimized for paid social use and used to target audiences within the brand&#8217;s three key markets.

The “Do You Regi?” campaign was rolled out over the course of 3 months. The content, which included videos, cinemagraphs, and photos that were geo-targeted to each city, increased sign-ups to the platform while creating awareness and engagement for the brand across social channels. With results still rolling in, stay tuned for more expansion of Regi in 2020.

Inspired by illustrations from Venmo brand designer, Sebastian Curi, we created a fun, animated social video highlighting what Venmo users really shared over the past year. We carried Venmo’s brand identity through by bringing the static illustrations to life alongside third-party emojis, creating a cohesive style between the two core elements.

By mixing stats with style we were able to deliver an informative brand piece with extensions for online advertising and YouTube pre-roll, strengthening Venmo’s brand identity and encouraging viewers to always share what’s real.

Long Form Branded Content at the Center of a 100-Year Anniversary


Create a branded content documentary series that would encapsulate 100 years of innovation across Olympus’ three primary business units; Medical, Imaging, and Scientific Solutions.

With such a rich and extensive history of game-changing products and innovations to pull from, we dove deep into the exploratory phase of the project for the iconic brand. We got personal, interviewing more than 30 individuals from different perspectives on Olympus’ business and their impact on humanity. Interviews, historical documents, academic writings, and photographic research provided the backbone for the story, while production included 15 shoot days over 3 months, across the U.S. and Japan.

When learning about Olympus’ history in photography, one aspect became very clear: camera making is an altruistic pursuit. It is a way to communicate ideas, history, emotions, and memories. Olympus cameras are a response to the natural ways people want to take photos and what they want to take photos of. With the ever-inspiring designer, Yoshihisa Maitani, at the helm, Olympus carved their name in the history books with classic designs such as the Pen, the OM-1, and the invention of the micro four thirds camera system. Their ultimate motive is to provide people of all means the ability to take photos.

Olympus’ dedication to making people&#8217;s lives healthier, safer, and more fulfilling is intrinsically represented within their Medical business. With pioneering devices such as the first practical gastrocamera and the endoscopic video system, Olympus laid the groundwork for gastroenterology as we know it today. Next time you walk into a medical facility, look around and take note. Chances are an Olympus device is being used in the process to make your experience move comfortable and effective.

Olympus’ Scientific Solutions business revolves around the idea of seeing beyond the limits of the human eye. Through their microscopes, industrial endoscopes, and radiographic instruments, Olympus provides the opportunity to see inside objects and organisms. From the development of new medicines to the internal safety inspections on airplanes, their objective is to witness, analyze, process, and learn about the inner mechanisms of life. With this knowledge, specialists harness the power to provide safer environments and procedures for the public good.

The 3-part video campaign became the featured branded content for Olympus’ 2019 Anniversary marketing efforts, driving conversation about the human side of the brand &#8211; stories that had yet to be told. The unique narratives engaged audiences and garnered attention from stakeholders and brand enthusiasts from around the world.

As part of an ongoing brand awareness campaign featuring top athletes, we were asked to create a video series with NFL Pro-Bowl Wide Receiver, A.J. Green. Our job was to concept and produce a 1-minute brand video that would also function as a 6-part social video series to promote the emerging protein beverage brand.

We brought A.J and his real-life trainer together to document his off-season workout. A.J. has maintained his routine since his days as a Georgia Bulldog, so the goal was to create an authentic content series demonstrating the true workouts A.J. performs to stay at the top of his game.

The 6-part content series garnered more than 1 million views on Facebook with Episode 4, “Determination”, becoming the most viewed video ever for the brand with more than 331,000 views. The brand video and content were also attributed to helping Rockin’ Protein receive 214 million earned media impressions and an 8% sales growth in 2018.
